Days 1-2
Gordes to Roussillon
Leaving the ancient streets of Gordes behind, walk through olive groves and across open countryside. Take a short break in the fragrant fields of lavender and poppies that lie in the valley below Roussillon.
Day 3
Roussillon to Buoux
Follow a path through vivid ochre quarries and traverse a stream using a Roman bridge on the way to Buoux. The ancient ramparts of this town shelter a Romanesque chapel and castle keep, which are interesting to explore.
Days 4-5
Buoux to Lourmarin
Admire majestic mountain scenery while trekking the high ridge of the Luberon. A gentle descent down forested slopes leads to Lourmarin, notable as the resting place of writer Albert Camus. Put a relaxing end to your journey wandering the narrow, cobblestone streets of this town.
