Day 2
Kawaguchi
Take the bus to Kawaguchi, a town that lies at the base of Mt Fuji. At 3776 metres high Mt Fuji is Japan's tallest mountain and a national symbol. Snow-capped throughout most of the year, views of its majestic volcanic cone are breath-taking.
Days 3-4
Mt Fuji
Continue the challenging ascent from the mountain hut. Rising early to ascend to the summit to witness an awe-inspiring sunrise with spectacular views over the surrounding lowlands.
Today is at your leisure in and around Tokyo and a chance for some final sightseeing or to indulge yourself in a rejuvenating Shiatsu massage.
