This classic trek is the most popular route, and the only one serviced by mountain huts to keep you well protected from the elements. It's the most direct route to the summit and covers the 67 km trail in just 5 days (or sometimes 6 if you decide to take some extra time to acclimatise). Although it can be busy, the route is well maintained and is a fabulous trek to the spectacular summit of Mt Kilimanjaro.
