Day 2
Hilltribe Adventure
The most interesting ethnic minority villages are tucked away in the hills of northern Thailand and are best reached on an overnight walk through forest and rural terrain.
Day 3
Jungle Camp
There's time to explore the surrounding area, study the local environment and learn how to survive in the jungle. Stop at an elephant camp to see how the elephants live and enjoy a ride ten feet above the ground.
Take an exciting trip on bamboo rafts down the Mae Tang River. Stop for lunch at a Shan village before heading back to Chiang Mai. Make sure to check out the woodcarvings, silk weavings and lacquerware produced in the city.
