Day 2
Cooking Class
Visit a lively local market before donning a chef's uniform for a hands-on cooking class. Learn how to make a number of regional delicacies which could include Banana Flower Salad and Spring Rolls. In the afternoon enjoy a cyclo tour of the city before dinner at a family-run restaurant that has served traditional Vietnamese fare for five generations. Top it all off with a traditional water puppets performance.
Days 3-4
Hanoi/Noodle Village
Start the day with breakfast at KOTO restaurant, established to teach Hanoi's street children hospitality skills. Travel out to the rural outskirts to visit a town famous for its arrowroot noodles. After lunching on local specialties, spend the afternoon putting your new-found knowledge to work at another half-day cooking class.
