2008 Denali National Park Explorer
Immerse yourself in the heart and soul of Denali National Park on this special tour which will take you deep into Alaska's backcountry. You will go above and beyond any standard park tour as you travel along the world-renowned and very restricted Denali Park Road to the beautiful Denali Backcountry Lodge. With only 90 miles of road for all of Denali's six million acres, and only 15 miles of that road being unrestricted, your journey and stay at the Denali Backcountry Lodge will truly give you a special park experience with every opportunity available for viewing wildlife. Witness the secret life of Dall sheep, caribou, moose, wolves, and bears as you explore optional excursions including bike rides and guided hikes. For a well-rounded trip, attend one of the many historical and cultural presentations offered at the lodge, or spend a cozy evening exploring the natural history library and video collection. The Lodge prepares fresh, hearty and wholesome meals. Don't miss the hot breakfasts each morning, as well as the sandwich buffet for lunch. Dinners are served family style by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. This tour is designed to make your stay in Denali National Park as comfortable, authentic and unique as possible.
