    Itinerary
    DayDestinationDescription
Day 1Los AngelesLos Angeles : Fly Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia. Total flying time is approximately 14.5 hours.
Day 2SydneySydney : The International Date Line is an imaginary line on the earth's surface that approximately coincides with the 180th meridian (LONGITUDE), and separates the calendar date. Traveling east across the line, takes the traveler back one day; traveling west, takes the traveler forward one day. Without the date line, calendar confusion would result for the traveler.
Day 3SydneySydney : After collecting your bags and passing through immigration & customs, you will be met on arrival by your local group escort as you make your way to your private air-conditioned vehicle. Sydney is Australia's oldest city, the economic powerhouse of the nation and the country's capital in everything but name. It's blessed with sun-drenched natural attractions, dizzy skyscrapers, delicious and daring restaurants, superb shopping and friendly folk. Originally an Aboriginal settlement, Sydney has grown from a brutal British penal colony to a vital, self-regarding metropolis with thriving multicultural communities. Although it's come a long way from its convict beginnings, it still has a rough and ready energy, and offers an invigorating blend of the old and the new, the raw and the refined. Directly on arrival you can sit back and relax as you are taken on a half day city sights tour. We'll stop briefly at the world famous Bondi Beach before visiting Watson's Bay for a spectacular view over the Pacific Ocean. Continue past Sacred Heart Convent Rose Bay, Double Bay, Rushcutters Bay and cosmopolitan Kings Cross. Stop at Mrs Macquarie's Chair for splendid views over the magnificent harbour and the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. See the Sydney Opera House, described as the Eighth Wonder of the World. See St Mary's Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Sydney, plus Parliament House, Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Visit the historical Rocks area, where the First Fleet landed in 1788 to establish Australia's first European settlement. Observe examples of early architecture and the beautiful sandstone buildings, made out of the same rocks, which gave this area its name. At the end of the tour you will be dropped off at your hotel for check-in and a good nights rest! There will be a welcome dinner at your hotel this evening. Soda & Coffee/Tea Included.
