Day 1
Bishkek
The leafy modern capital of Kyrgyzstan is packed with monuments that reflect the country's Soviet past as well as which showcase the modern face of the nation.
Day 2
Issyk Kul
Take a dip one of the largest alpine lakes in the world en route to lovely Karakol.
Day 3
Kochkor
Travel over stunning mountain passes and see how felt carpets are made in Kochkor. Tonight, enjoy warm Kyrgyz hospitality and sleep in a traditional yurt.
Day 4
Chichkan Valley
Snake along more scenic roads to the remote Chichkan Valley, where a clear night can make the stars look close enough to touch.
Days 5-6
Osh
Said to be older than Rome, Osh brims with oriental colours, rich spices and exotic fruits. Follow the pilgrim's path to Solomon's Throne or wander the vibrant bazaar where Silk Road merchants once traded.
Day 7
Depart
Take a spectacular flight back over the mountain route you've just traversed back to the capital of Bishkek.
