Famous for its soapstone, you might also like to pick up a few hand-carved souvenirs while here. | | Day 3 | Lake Victoria | Put tastebuds to the test at a tea plantation and learn how humble green leaves are turned into fragrant blends. Experience the untamed wilderness camping on the remote shores of one of the world's largest lakes. | | Days 4-5 | Serengeti National Park | Undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, the Serengeti National Park is a haven for African animals. Embark on early morning and late afternoon game viewing safaris through its savannah grasslands and hope to see cheetahs, leopards or gazelles. Safe and sound in a tent, drift off to sleep with the sounds of nocturnal animals in your ears. | | Day 6 | Ngorongoro Crater | Birthplace of human ancestors, Olduvai Gorge is an interesting place to explore.
