Chiang Rai Toy Making
Take the scenic route to Chang Rai and grab the opportunity to learn how to make traditional Thai toys. Step-by-step, learn from experienced village elders and create two toys to take home as a momento.
Day 3
Chiang Rai Farm Visit
Don Mo-Hom clothes, the indigo folk outfit worn by Thai farmers - short-sleeved shirt, shorts and slippers. Learn about the planting and harvesting of rice in an area of lush green paddies and fertile landscapes. Later, enjoy launching a local fire balloon to bring good luck.
Wake early to offer alms to Buddhist monks in a nearby village, and maybe fit in a wander through the local market.
